Just like our forefathers and theirs before them, we build each rustic wood mission bed by hand and to order, no cookie cutter assembly lines and no overseas outsourcing involved at all. This bed is made from circle sawn fir and reinforced with new wood for durability, and a coat of pre-catalyzed lacquer finish covers the entire bed, further ensuring durability and giving the wood a subtle shine you’re sure to appreciate. Large 6×6 timber posts and solid wood throughout the design of this bed make it strong enough to survive for generations with only minimal maintenance. We include side rails, support slats, and bolts with every purchase of this bed, and we’ll include an additional middle support rail if you purchase this bed in size King or California King.
